a qualification that is assessed by CPA Australia as equivalent to at least an Australian Bachelor degree

STUDYING ACCOUNTANT FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCY IN SA
In order to get permanent residency with Accounting, the lowest and highly recommended degree is Bachelor. Since most Bachelor degrees in South Australia or in Australia are having those competency areas or subjects for Skill Assessment requirement.
Also if you studies Bachelor of Accounting (3 years duration) in South Australia, you will get 2 + 1 years of Post study work Visa 485. Living in South Australia for more than 3 or 5 years, you are counted as a long term resident with a lot more benefits to get a visa 491 ( Pathway to Visa 191 PR)
