The Working Holiday Pathway: Extensions

- Second Year Visa: To be eligible for a second 12-month visa, you must complete 3 months (88 days) of “specified work” in a designated regional area during your first year.
- Third Year Visa: To be eligible for a third 12-month visa, you must complete 6 months (179 days) of “specified work” in a designated regional area during your second year.
“Specified work” typically includes jobs in industries like tourism and hospitality in northern or remote Australia, agriculture, fishing, construction, and bushfire recovery work.
